Groundcovers include any plant that is used to cover the ground, slope or grow between pavers and stones. Some shrubs such as the Evergreen Russian Cypress or the flowering shrub Stephanandra have a wide spreading growth habit that is perfectly suited for banks that are difficult to maintain.
